K3 River Kayak Trip

Pictures from K3 River Trip w/ Aunt Janet on Monday, August 31, 2009. We went from Momence to Aroma Park about 11 miles. It took us 4 hours but we hardly paddled. We also took a side trip down a stream. There was a tree across it and we had to manuever around it. Just outside of Aroma Park there were swans that Janet went right up to. She named them Scott and Ann. She also named two islands - you guessed it! Yesterday

Played w/ all five kitties yesterday. It's getting very hard not to attach names especially the one's w/ the "mittens" and "socks" on its feet! My namer should be home by Monday! Can't wait!!

Picked a lot of corn yesterday and held two of the kitties. All four of them are still there - 3 tigers and the one gray. I also registered for my first class toward getting my library science degree. I should find out if I got my spot in a couple of days.

PS Saw a fox and a deer this morning but didn't have my camera set up. The fox was probably the biggest fox I've ever seen. Had me wondering if it was really a fox.
